April 2024 Update: Thank you for your interest in my work! I am no longer taking undergraduate students for summer'24 but if you still want to talk to me about research in general or need advice on how to get into research at Rice, I'd be happy to chat!
For Rice undergrad and master's students that are interested in working with me, you should email me your CV/resume (with GPA and graduation year displayed). I look for students with strong interest in AI/robotics research, outstanding communication skills (for both technical and non-technical concepts), ability to learn fast, and background in probability and programming. Experience with AI and robotics is a plus but not required.
